Picasso's Cubist sculpture in Chicago, known as the Chicago Picasso, is a monumental work made of COR-TEN steel. Commissioned from Picasso in 1963 and unveiled in 1967, it stands 15.2 meters tall. Picasso later claimed it represented the head of his Afghan hound, Kabul. This monumental abstract sculpture is the first abstract public artwork in downtown Chicago's Civic Center.
