A vermeil (gilt silver) ring with a double motif. Marked "Bijou de Braque" inside. Numbered 1/75 inside. Bears the letter V on a fish's tail.

This ring was made after the eponymous gouache from 1962 from the series 'Les Métamorphoses', a work featured in the 1963 exhibition catalogue "Wally F Galleries present The prestigious collection, Bijoux de Braques, Heger de Löwenfeld" on page 8. Gouache of this ring reproduced on page 84 of the book ‘Les Métamorphoses de Braque’ by Heger de Loewenfeld and Raphaël de Cuttoli (Editions Fac, Paris, 1989).
A certificate from Armand Israël, expert, publisher and heir of the artist, dated December 12, 2006 will be given to the buyer.
