This exceptional and unique work was <\/p>\n
created by Salvador Dali in 1967. It is <\/p>\n
made in ink, watercolor and includes <\/p>\n
a collage of 34 cards on a support in <\/p>\n
cardboard. <\/p>\n
The signature \u201cSalvador Dali\u201d is affixed <\/p>\n
in black felt-tip pen, accompanied by projections <\/p>\n
red paint. <\/p>\n
The presentation of this work was made <\/p>\n
by Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Apesteguy, who <\/p>\n
introduces into this work the famous game <\/p>\n
of 54 playing cards designed by Salvador <\/p>\n
Dali for Puiforcat and printed by Draeger. <\/p>\n
This artistic creation was specially <\/p>\n
developed for the World Bridge Festival <\/p>\n
in Deauville in 1967 and was intended to be <\/p>\n
exhibited in the window of the Galerie de JF <\/p>\n
Apesteguy, located at 8 Rue du Casino in <\/p>\n
Deauville, France. <\/p>\n
This exhibition highlighted the game of <\/p>\n
cards created by Salvador Dali for the <\/p>\n
Puiforcat house during its launch. <\/p>\n
It is also worth noting that another work <\/p>\n
similar, with red cards, was <\/p>\n
offered to the French singer France <\/p>\n
Gall. This confirmation was issued by <\/p>\n
the expert Mr. Fabien Lecoeuvre, who has <\/p>\n
indicated that France Gall had spoken to him about <\/p>\n
this painting (presented here) at her home, Rue de <\/p>\n
Monceau in Paris.
